The industry and labor data supporting our five target sectors is provided by Lightcast. Lightcast data is sourced from dozens of government and private-sector sources, creating a comprehensive and current dataset that includes both published data and detailed estimates with full United States coverage.

The area comprising our 11 county laborshed is derived from inbound commuter data within a 45-minute radius. This data, sourced from public and private data entities by Lightcast, is an indicator of the total area from which a labor force can be drawn.
We then include any county where the centroid of that county area is within the 45-minute radius. Any county where the centroid is outside the defined radius is excluded.
