*A Special Called board meeting has been called for Friday May 1st, 2026. This meeting will be held in the conference room of the VLCDA office located at 103 Roosevelt Drive, Valdosta, GA, 31601*

About the Board
The Valdosta-Lowndes County Development Authority (VLCDA) is governed by a board appointed by the City of Valdosta and Lowndes County, with members serving five-year terms. Established in 1960 through an amendment to the Georgia Constitution, the VLCDA works to support economic growth, business recruitment, and community investment throughout Valdosta-Lowndes County.
The VLCDA is funded by Lowndes County through a dedicated countywide millage rate. The Board of Directors meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at 103 Roosevelt Drive in Valdosta, unless otherwise notified.
